Wellington Region Events Industry Function

The inaugural gathering for the new Wellington Region Events Industry Group, initiated by your NZEA Regional Rep for Wellington, Penny Mitropoulos. Penny has found herself seconded overseas for the coming months, so NZEA General Manager, Ségolène de Fontenay will be facilitating this event.

The group is intended to provide a forum to discuss key industry issues and opportunities, network and hear some great presentations.

Both NZEA members and non-members are welcome.


Refreshments will be available on arrival    

  • Welcome from NZEA General Manager
  • Discussion on the objectives and deliverables for the group (see suggestions below developed at this year's Eventing the Future conference).    
  • Industry Update from Drew Naika, Events Development Manager, Partnerships & Events at WREDA          
  • Presentation from Dan Tatham, Head of Rugby Operations at New Zealand Rugby on key learnings from the Lions Tour.
